Fall Document Shredding Event

Please review the following information before attending the shred event:

  • There is a maximum of four filing boxes of confidential documents per vehicle. 
  • Madison County residents only; business waste will not be accepted. 
  • Please do not put items in plastic bags, they should be loose in boxes or paper bags and easily accessible in the back of the vehicle. Empty boxes will be returned to the vehicle.

Some of our local Community Banks have their own shred events scheduled. Please call your local branch to see if they are hosting one this year. The Chittenango Community Bank location is hosting a shred event on Saturday, September 23 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Click here for more information.

2023 Electronic Recycling Events for Madison County Residents

Certain electronics, such as TVs and computers, cannot go in your household garbage and must be brought to an electronics recycler. Our department funds a FREE electronic recycling program for Madison County residents.

There are designated bins located outside the building. Please note an attendant will not be available to help unload. Business waste will NOT be accepted.

LOJO Technology also offers quarterly Saturday collection dates for those who cannot make it during the week. The last 2023 Saturday date is on October 14 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
