Registration Renewal for Car, Truck or Motorcycle

To renew your registration by mail, please include the following items:

1. A photocopy of your New York State Driver’s License.
2. A completed MV-82 Vehicle Registration/Title Application form (fill out Sections 1, 2, and 4, and sign Section 6).
   Be sure to write your plate number in the top corner of Section 1.
3. For payment, complete page 3 of the MV-82, which serves as the credit card authorization form. Make sure to sign the authorization. Your debit or credit card will be charged upon processing.
4. A photocopy of your insurance card.
5. Your phone number — we will call you when the transaction is complete.

We will not know the total cost until the transaction is processed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
