cleanup kits

Have you found needles or syringes in the community?

Madison County Health Department & BRiDGES are now offering safe needle cleanup kits. Used needles – whether from illegal or medicinal sources – pose a concern to the community when left in public spaces. The risk of contracting a disease from a needle-stick injury can be significantly reduced by using appropriate equipment and procedures. This program is intended to empower community members and business owners to safely clean up used needles found in the community.
