Children and Youth With Special Healthcare Needs

The Children and Youth With Special Healthcare Needs Program assists families of children birth to 21 years who have or are suspected of having a serious or chronic physical, developmental, or emotional condition. Information and referral services are provided to help the family access community resources as well as appropriate health care.

  • Helps families of children under 21 years to access available community resources and services.
  • Assists families with health insurance needs
  • Provides information and referrals regarding disability and health topics
  • Services are free of charge to the family
