Security Upgrades at the Madison County Office Building

Wampsville, NY – The Madison County Office Building, located at 138 N. Court St. in Wampsville, has gone through a recent security upgrade.   In addition to the single point of entry, located between the Courthouse and the County Office Building, all visitors will now be subject to a security screening.

Visitors will be go through a metal detector and have their belongings put through an x-ray security screening system.  Any person who for medical reasons cannot walk through a metal detector will be screened with a hand wand.  To expedite this process please leave any unneeded items in your vehicle.

These security measures are already in place to access the County Courthouse and Veterans Building.  And now these screenings are in effect for all visitors to the County Office Building as well.
