[ARCHIVED] Pyramid Model Training

Pyramid Module Training Flyer

Madison County Health Department is offering a free Pyramid Model training for providers working with Madison County children birth to age 5 years thanks to a grant from the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York. The training costs will be fully covered by the grant, so there will be no cost to participants. The flyer below lists the dates and times of each training session for Module 2, which will be provided virtually via Zoom by Madison-Oneida BOCES and the Child Care Council of CCE.

The Pyramid Model, also called the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning, is a conceptual framework of evidence-based practices for promoting young children’s social and emotional competence and for preventing and addressing challenging behavior. The Pyramid Model is New York State’s preferred social-emotional curriculum for early education settings. More information may be found here: https://challengingbehavior.cbcs.usf.edu

The training is limited to 15 participants for each training module, so be sure to register early by contacting Jessica Salay at Madison County Health Department at jessica.salay@madisoncounty.ny.gov or 315-266-2361

Questions about this training may be directed to Rosanne Lewis, Director of Children with Special Needs at Madison County Health Department at 315-366-2361.
