The
declaration in the U.S. of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a publichealth emergency immediately changed the way we work and live, and intensified
feelings of stress and uncertainty about the future. Some organizations haveimplemented longer work hours or overnight shifts to accommodate new working
conditions. These nonstandard work schedules, combined with stress, can impairsleep and increase the risk for fatigue, impacting worker health and safety. 

 

This
presentation will include a brief overview of COVID-19, summarize currentliterature and provide suggestions on how to mitigate fatigue during these
times.
