[ARCHIVED] Get Your Flu Shot if you Haven’t Yet Had Your Yearly Flu Vaccine

November Immunization Clinics

For some, the flu can be serious — and even deadly. Everyone aged 6 months and older needs a flu vaccine to stay healthier this fall. Even though wearing a face mask and washing your hands often can help reduce the spread of flu, experts agree a flu vaccine is the best way to prevent flu. It can also help prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and save lives.

Madison County Health Department urges everyone age 6 months and older to get your flu shot to protect yourself, your family, and your community.

The Health Department is holding Immunization Clinics with flu shots available on November 4 and November 18 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Clinics are by appointment only and will be held at the Health Department, 138 North Street, Building 5, in Wampsville. Face masks are required and all COVID-19 safety guidelines are followed to protect staff and the public.
