[ARCHIVED] Document Shredding Event in Hamilton This Fall

October 2022 Shred Event

The Madison County Department of Solid Waste is once again partnering with Proshred to offer a free document shredding event for Madison County residents on:

๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†, ๐—ข๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ from 9 AM to Noon

Due to limitations in the truck's capacity, Madison County residents can bring a maximum of 4 filing boxes. Madison County residents only; business waste will NOT be accepted. Residents do not need to register for this event.

Medical documents, bank information, tax records, and other paperwork containing account numbers or private details are ideal for shredding. Please do not bring magazines, junk mail or phone books as they can go in your normal paper recycling bin. 

In addition to our Fall event, some local Community Banks host their own shred events.  The Chittenango Community Bank has one scheduled for ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†, ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿณ from 9 AM to 11 AM. Please call their branch for more information.
