Madison County Needs Foster Parents!

Foster and adoptive parents are special people who open their hearts and homes to children in our community who can no longer stay with their families for a variety of reasons.  Our foster homes are a temporary placement and last resort after trying all other options to assure the children's safety.  Our foster parents' willingness to open their homes to children in care assures a safe, temporary, and loving home environment while allowing the children to maintain connections to their families and communities.

If you are interested in becoming a foster/adoptive parent, please call Theresa Snyder at the Madison County Department of Social Services at 366-2548.

Foster Care Quilt

In May 2013, in honor of Foster Care Month, a special quilt hung in the Madison County Office Building lobby. The quilt was made up of squares that were decorated by children in foster care and foster parents.
