During COVID-19, getting a flu shot is more important than ever to protect yourself, your family, and your community. The flu shot is safe and does not give you the flu. Everyone age 6 months and older should get a flu shot. It is especially important for these high-risk groups:
- Pregnant women
- Children younger than 5 years, but especially those under 2 years old
- People age 65 and older
- People who have certain health conditions like asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.
