William G. Gabor recently retired from his position as the Madison County District Attorney. Mr. Gabor served as District Attorney for 16 years, elected to five consecutive terms before his retirement and assuming a part time role in the office as a senior assistant district attorney. Prior to being elected District Attorney, Mr. Gabor ran a private law practice in Syracuse for 15 years. Bill began his career as an attorney in 1985, where he began as an Assistant District Attorney in Madison County. As a senior assistant district attorney, Bill will prosecute assigned felony cases, monitor the office’s appellate practice, and appear in Madison County local courts.
Bill graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity College, in Hartford, Connecticut.
