The Madison County Assigned Counsel Program coordinates the assignment of attorneys for indigent individuals who are dealing with various criminal matters in Madison County

MISSION STATEMENT

The Madison County Assigned Counsel Program is dedicated to providing quality legal representation to citizens of Madison County who cannot otherwise afford representation. The goal of the MCACP is to support passionate advocacy from our attorneys on behalf of their clients while meeting the ethical and legal standards of our program. 

ELIGIBILITY

Criminal defendants and probationers in Madison County Courts may qualify to be represented by MCACP if they are found to be in need pursuant to 2021 Federal Poverty Guidelines for Criminal Court.
