Taxes will no longer be collected by the Town of Georgetown Clerk, they will now be paid directly to Madison County. In order to better serve our community and accommodate those who may want to pay online, or have the ability to pay 5 days a week, this was the best and most cost effective option.
Taxes can be paid one of three ways:
- In person at the Treasurer’s Office at the Madison County Office Building, 138 N. Court Street, Wampsville, NY. Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. There is also a lock box in the lobby of the County Office Building where they can be dropped off.
- Online by going to www.madisoncounty.ny.gov and clicking the Pay Taxes link.
- Or By mail to Madison County Treasurer, P.O. Box 665, Wampsville, NY 13163
