2. Madison County residents can bring their HHW to Miller Environmental Group, 532 State Fair Boulevard, Syracuse, New York. Appointments are required. By participating in this program, Madison County residents may dispose of 20 liquid gallons and 30 dry pounds for free of acceptable HHW.

   Your reservation confirmation and other related information including a map with written directions to Miller Environmental Group in Syracuse will generally be processed and returned to your inbox within 1 - 2 days with your appointment confirmation.

    Enter the month, time and days you are available to visit the hazardous waste facility. The facility is open during the following times:

    • Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM
    • The first Saturday of every month from 8 AM to 12 PM
      • 2026 Saturday Dates: January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1, September 12, October 3, November 7, and December 5.

    Same day and next day appointments will not be allowed as we require 2-3 business days to notify the facility and confirm the appointment. There is a limit of 1 visit per household per calendar year.
