Bulbs, Batteries & Ink Cartridges

Resident waste only. Business waste not accepted.

Bulbs 

Fluorescent bulbs and tubes can be brought to any of our transfer stations or check with your local retailer for take-back programs.

     Accepted Items: Fluorescent bulbs and tubes. See attendant for collection.

     Not Accepted: Incandescent, LED and halogen bulbs. These are garbage and can be thrown in the trash.


Batteries 

Residents can use a zip-lock bag to store batteries.  Batteries can be brought to any of our transfer stations or check with your local retailer for take-back programs: Rechargeable Battery Recycling

     Accepted Items: AA, AAA, C and D Cell, 9-Volt, Button Batteries, Automotive Batteries, Household Batteries, Rechargeable Batteries (Nickel-cadmium, sealed lead, lithium ion, nickel metal hydride, any other dry cell battery capable of being recharged, battery packs containing any of the before mentioned batteries).

     Not Accepted: Commercial Use Batteries


Ink Cartridges

Residents can drop off empty ink-jet cartridges at any of our transfer stations. Please review the following list from our Ink Cartridge Recycler for acceptable items. Any items not listed should go in the garbage: http://www.evolverecycling.com/Cartridge_list.aspx

Evolve Recycling purchases cartridges that remanufacturers are willing to buy and put back into service. Not all ink cartridges are accepted into the program.
