Child Find - Developmental Delay Tracking

The Child Find program is a developmental surveillance component of the Early Intervention program. Children birth - age 3 years that may be at risk for developmental delay due to medical or environmental reasons are monitored. The Child Find staff works closely with a child’s primary care provider to monitor the child’s developmental progress. If a delay is identified, the child may be referred to the Early Intervention program for evaluation.

  • Helps parents of children under three years of age at risk for developmental delay to track the development of their child
  • Provides education and information about child growth and development
  • Makes referrals to other programs as needed
  • Services are free of charge to the family
